Tomorrow, the twin suns will rise again. They will shine down on his hair, golden as the sand, and light his way to search for the lost droid. They will watch as Kenobi hands him his father's old weapon, as he takes his legacy in hand. They will orbit each other, a slow, millennial dance, and the boy from below will be swept away to distant stars — less warm, less familiar. They know he will miss them before he does.
But they will accompany him, at a distance. As he leaves home for the Galaxy, Tatooine will be kept warm.
