Summary: Skulking about after hours isn't as easy as it looks in the holodramas.
“Do you think this will actually work?” the younger of the two Padawans asks, hushed and nervous.
Her friend smiles, a little too cocky and self-assured for comfort. “Absolutely. All we gotta do is open up the doors, and then we’re golden. Easy-squeezy.”
Alas, easy-squeezy is in the eye of the beholder, and brashness blinds the bold to reality. It takes all of twelve seconds for the duo to be caught— manipulating the pins in a lock is slow, loud work, and sound echoes in the Archive’s empty halls.
Ah, well. There are worse places to be caught sneaking around.
