A good thief, she thinks, walks out empty-handed.

Not that most would call her that. An information broker, an informant, a spy, perhaps.

Too grandiose. She’s merely a thief, even if the stolen goods only exist in her mind. Easier to transport, that way; harder to trace. Even copying information out of a database leaves signs. But just remembering it? Nothing suspicious about doing her day job.

All her thievery is done in the daylight; the night is for selling the goods. The Rebellion doesn’t pay as much for words alone, but, well, she’s not doing this for the money.
