My apologies for the repeat of Prompt 23(a) last week, the well is running very dry.

Which brings me to some important news. Next week, the fifty-second week, the one-year anniversary of this community, will be the last week I will be posting new prompts. There have been some wonderful fills and some dedicated writers coming back week in and week out, but often you are picking up older prompts, not the new ones. The community will remain open and I will add author and media tags upon request, but I won’t be adding new weekly prompts after next week.

In the "What’s Old is New" department:

smutwars 2024 is now in the Treat segment of the challenge. The exchange portion has concluded and all of the assigned gifts have been exchanged, but if anyone is still interested in in writing shippy/smutty fics, you should head over to the Prompts/Requests Summary page for Smut Wars 2024 on AO3. The nice thing about treats is that they don’t need to meet the minimum word count requirements, so if 100-300 is your sweet spot, this might be a nice place to find prompts to stretch your shippy/kinky writing muscles. You have from September 9 until October 10 to write and post a treat.
