“Rollies!” a trooper shouted. The warning was unnecessary; they could all recognize the distinctive rhythmic clacking, loud even over the sounds of battle. Destroyers had no need for stealth.

The troopers quickly dove for cover, even before the warning went out, sheltering behind the remnants of buildings and structures still half-standing. Safe, for a time, but pinned in place when the droidekas rolled in and began their barrage.

“I hate these ones,” grumbled one trooper, his blaster useless at his side, unable to pierce through a droideka’s shields.

“We all do,” another said. “Now quit yapping and grab some poppers!”
