There is chaos and suffering and death as the culmination of a millennia long plan comes to fruition, and Sidious delights in it.

But the feeling doesn’t last long. The damage to Vader is frustrating, and little by little, more cracks begin to show, stealing away his pleasure and leaving only an empty drudgery. Sidious may have his Empire now, but his greed does not allow him to be satisfied with this. There is still yet more power to be stripped away from the galaxy and gathered in his own hands.

But he will not be satisfied with that, either.
