When she’d first gone into hyperspace, it had mesmerized her, a dizzying visual spectacle that she could barely tear her eyes from.

She could hardly remember that day now. Hyperspace was mundane after so many trips, and if she ever stared out the window, it was with impatience and frustration as she waited out the time, knowing that at any point, her target might ditch the destination and escape her.

She could see why some bounty hunters preferred to work and travel in teams, if only to stave off that dreadful boredom.

But there was more money working in isolation.
