“What are you doing?” a Jedi padawan asked her friend, staring at the lightsaber parts scattered over the floor.

“I heard that there was once a Jedi Master who built a multi-colored lightsaber! So I’m gonna make one too.”

“I’m sure you can do that with one of those split-apart double-ended sabers,” she said, “but you’d need a second crystal for that.”

“No, I mean the blade itself had multiple colors! Stacked on top of each other.”

“I… don’t think that’s true. I think one of the senior padawans is messing with you.”

“Let me have my rainbow lightsaber dreams!”
