Sy preferred a clean breakup. No draggin’ it out, separating and makin’ up again. No awkward, humiliating moments to chase her long after the relationship was done, or more money down the drain.

She’d feel the same even if she weren’t honeypottin’. She knew her worth, and a gal like her wouldn’t suffer any fools who didn’t treat her right. So she’d end things on her terms, and they’d both move on – to the next life, in his case.

It was mostly for the bounty, of course, but she’d be lyin’ if she said the payback wasn’t a nice bonus.
