His opponent scoffed from across the table.

“He says you are either the bravest man he has ever met or the most stupid,” Threepio translated succinctly.

“Pipe down, Goldenrod,” said Han, eyes fixed on the other player yet. “What’s it gonna be, call or raise?”

His opponent seemed to consider his options, then called.

Without hesitation, Han laid down the best sabacc hand he ever held.

His opponent groaned, and with a wide grin, Han claimed the pot.

The credits would help fix up the Falcon, but the real prize was the rare kyber crystal - that was for Leia.
